Marx Preserve

Marx Preserve’s 100 acres were donated to North Salem Open Land Foundation by the Marx Family in 1977. This parcel is situated almost entirely in the town of Lewisboro, and features trails which can be accessed from the AT&T gate and right-of-way on Route 138, and at the trailhead on Sullivan Road in Lewisboro. There are some steep sections. The preserve contains two of the highest hilltops in the area and some of the most scenic slopes bordering Route 138. The terrain transitions from rock outcroppings to low-lying bogland.

Trail is one mile.
